Carnegie Presents: Jacob Keller - First Full Solo Recital (2031) - Event
Carnegie Presents: Jacob Keller was Jacob Keller’s first full solo recital, held at Weill Recital Hall on October 17, 2031. Jacob had already appeared at Carnegie Hall in student and CRATB contexts, but this was the first Carnegie program carried entirely under his own name.
Program
The recital program included:
Ludwig van Beethoven, Piano Sonata No. 32 in C minor, Op. 111
Frédéric Chopin, Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52
Olivier Messiaen, ‘’Regard de l’Esprit de joie’‘
World premiere of an original composition by Jacob Keller
Carnegie Hall promoted the recital through its website with a restrained black-and-gold digital poster centered on Jacob’s name, the Weill venue, and the four-part program.
Career Place
The Weill recital established Jacob’s first complete solo bill at Carnegie Hall. It did not replace the separate milestone of his 2033 Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage concert. The 2033 performance was his main-hall debut and carried a different program and a severe backstage migraine crisis.
